Finding Strength in God: Lessons from Gideon's Journey Day 3

Devotional

When God calls us to step out in faith, our first response is often to look at our own inadequacies. We see all the reasons why we can't possibly do what He's asking. But God's calling isn't based on our capabilities - it's based on His power working through us. He intentionally gives us assignments bigger than ourselves so we'll learn to rely on Him.

Bible Verse

But Lord,' Gideon replied, 'how can I rescue Israel? My clan is the weakest in the whole tribe of Manasseh, and I am the least in my entire family!' - Judges 6:15

What God-sized assignment have you been hesitating to accept because it seems too big for you?

Lord, give me the courage to step out in faith, knowing that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. Amen.
